Meet Kelly!
Kelly Noble is Zuni/Cherokee whose life has been guided by one principle: service to others.
Throughout her career, Kelly has worked alongside tribal, state, and community leaders to advocate for Native communities, strengthen families, and create opportunities for future generations. She has served as a former New Mexico Cabinet Secretary of Indian Affairs, Tribal Administrator, certified Life Coach, Licensed Massage Therapist, entrepreneur, and community leader.
Kelly believes leadership begins by listening. She understands that the best solutions come from working together, honoring our traditions, respecting our elders, investing in our youth, and creating opportunities that allow our people to thrive.
Her commitment is simple:

Keshi! Ho' Kelly Noble le'shina, ho' Dakya deyan, Cherokee awan cha:le, I am also a wife, a tsida, wowo ,ho'da, kuku and was raised to believe that serving others is one of the greatest responsibilities we can accept. Throughout my life, that belief has guided every path I've chosen.
I've been blessed with opportunities to serve our people in many different ways. I've worked in and understand the inner workings of tribal / state government and how federal partnerships work. Immersed in those roles allowed me to support our community by partnering to set up a food pantry, Emergency Management Office, establishing efficiency in our Tribal organization, being instrumental in helping to educate our managers to increase customer service and helped people discover hope during some of the most difficult seasons of their lives.
No matter where life has taken me, Zuni has always been home. I understand our language and am always actively learning how to speak it, fluency is the long-term goal... e:de!
Our community has shaped who I am. Our elders taught me the importance of respect. Our families taught me resilience. Our traditions taught me that leadership is not about recognition—it is about responsibility.
Over the years, I have listened to parents who want better opportunities for their children, elders who want their voices heard, young adults searching for purpose, entrepreneurs trying to build businesses, and families simply hoping for a stronger future. Those conversations have stayed with me. I believe every one of us has a role in strengthening our community. My role has always been to listen, serve and to help others succeed.
That is who I have always been, and it is the kind of leadership I hope to bring to the Zuni Tribal Council. As such, I commit to represent our community well.
